Two Years Old

It's so hard to wrap my head around it--but this guy is TWO years old now!!!

What are you like at 2 years???

-You weigh 28 lbs and measure 35.5" tall, putting you in the 60th percentile for weight and 77th for height. You wear size 24 months and some 2T, size 6 or 7 shoes, and size 5 diapers.

-You are into so many things now. Some of your favorite activities/toys are:

-basketball (playing and watching)

-cars, trucks and trains

-Elmo (of course!)

-your rocking horse

-wrestling with Dada

-helping Mama do laundry. You help put the clothes in the washer and take them out of the dryer and each piece of clothing you pick up you tell me who it belongs to--"Dada!" or "Mama!"

-cleaning up. You love to vacumn and after every meal you need to get a wet paper towel and wipe up the floor around your high chair.

-You don't talk a real lot yet. You have learned a bunch of new words recently though. They include "coat," "keys," "moon," "boob" (LOL!), "lemon," and "cake."

-You go to gymnastics once a week and you LOVE all the physical activity. You also practice at home and do your stretches on your carpet square (which was totally your own idea).

-You like to sit on the potty every night. Nothing has "happened" yet while you've been on the potty, but we love that you're interested and know it'll happen when you're ready.

-You have such a distinct, lovable personality and have also started to show us your temper here and there. You have your behavior "moments" (tantrums), but for the most part you are the happiest, most easy-going little boy and I love spending every day with you!! Happy Birthday, little man!!!
